Our Knitwear Program features a range of fully fashioned flat-knit garments, from sweaters to beanies.
When creating knitwear via The Production House, you have a wide range of customization modules to create your fully custom garment.

Fit
Pre-engineered Fits
Based on the most commonly requested silhouettes from brands worldwide. Developed through extensive community feedback, these fits provide a strong foundation.
Custom Fit
For unique requirements, our custom fit tool allows you to input specific measurements. We then develop a knit pattern, which may include custom panels, pockets, or cuts.
Yarn
Standard Yarns
We offer three premium yarn options: - 100% Cotton - 30% Alpaca, 30% Nylon, 40% Acrylic - 100% Merino
Other Compositions
At higher MOQs, we can source specific yarn blends such as wool and hemp from trusted providers.
Yarn Colour
For all yarns, please select colours from our colour cards.
Special Note for Cotton:
- Choose from the colour card, or
- Opt for vegetable garment dyeing with a Pantone TCX code.
Knitting Structure
Choose from the following structures:
Jersey — smooth front, textured back
Rib — alternating knit and purl stitches, highly elastic
Jacquard Interlock — double-knit, reversible, heavier weight
Vanisé Rib — plated with two yarns for contrast effects
Gauge
Gauge describes needle spacing and yarn dimensions (needles per inch).
- Higher gauge → finer, denser knit
- Lower gauge → chunkier, looser knit.
Endings
Endings include collars, cuffs, and hems. Choose from pre-engineered styles or request custom developments for unique specifications.
Embellishments
Jacquard — patterns knit directly into the structure for multi-dimensional designs.
Embroidery — stitched thread decoration for durability.
Patches — fabric or embroidery elements sewn onto the garment.
Labels
We offer three label materials:
- Polyester
- Raw Cotton Canvas
- Woven
Application Options:
- Inseam loop (under neck-tape)
- Back (stitched left and right)
Or you can provide your own trims.
